Hello all i have been using orbiter for a while now but i just cant dock to iss i can even make it to the moon using amso but when i land i cannot make it back to the cm just today i was approaching iss but i was goin to fast and flew by it can someone help its ridiculas how i can go to the moon but not even dock:facepalm:

RTFM

If you "goin to fast and flew by it", all you need is to slow down (relative velocity to zero)

Try reading the manuals :facts:
As far as i remember, there was something like a tutorial for ISS intercept and docking.

my first dock to iss was very intresting :D i was approaching iss with Rvelocity about 3200 m/s :D and i've hit it in very center :D:D:D:D

a trillion dolars nasa program and couple of people dead :D:D

try to use randezvous MFD its very helpfull and when u will start close approach try to slow down very hard.

I remember my first docking... All by default MFD's, following the instuctions in a tutotial playback.

Next step was a "checklist": KSC --> ISS --> Mir. And only then - first attempts to reach Moon.

Wish i could return back to that time...

Yea, I followed Tex's tutorial the first time I did it, so I'd recommend that. Judging by your first post, it seems that you can intercept well enough, it's just a matter of getting your relative velocity down. I'd refer you to the section in Go Play in Space 'Dancing in the Dark'. Just skip ahead to the actual rendezvous part. Good Luck!
