1. Germany ?? : 6x Gold, 3x Silver
2. Norway ?? : 5x Gold, 3x Silver, 4x Bronze
3. Austria ?? : 4x Gold, 5x Silver, 4x Bronze

It has something to do more with the racial similarities (most Taiwanese people are of mainland Chinese origin) than the geographical size between mainland China and Taiwan.

Yeah, if its only about the size of the country or the population, most European contries should never exist in Olympics. ?
