It's been about 4 years since I gave up on PC and returned to being a pure Mac user.
But I keep coming back here just to torment myself by seeing what amazing stuff continues to be done.
('Bout time for a new Orbiter version though, idnit?
)
Before I ditched the PC, I'd been watching, with drooling anticipation, the development of another free space sim, but I left the PC realm having dismissed it as Vaporware.
Imagine my elation yesterday when I discovered that not only had it actually been released... it had been ported to the Mac!! :speakcool:
Babylon 5: I've Found Her — Space Dream Factory
I am sooooo damn impressed by the level of quality in this!
It really feels like people from the Babylon 5 production team worked on it!
The graphics, the sounds, the voice acting... I really feel like I'm in a Starfury in EarthForce. (Well, except for the lack of a 3D Virtual Cockpit)
These folks are obviously HUGE fans of the series!
B5:IFH more than makes up for the loss of Sierra's Into The Fire project, for me anyway.
