Surface Base Apollo Landing Site Sceneries for Orbiter 2016

Do you have multiple Orbiter installs that share a Textures directory?
YES! I forgot the textures for my Orbiter Beta installation are drawn from another Orbiter setup (to save harddrive space) Thank you! It is working now - BEAUTIFUL!

Hi all,

@jarmonik made a great improvement in OpenOrbiter to resolve the issue of objects sinking into or floating above the terrain. He also increased the max. lateral resolution with a factor of 8, so from now on the limiting factor is the quality of the original DTMs. You may find the details here: https://www.orbiter-forum.com/threads/fixing-orbiter-terrain-collision-issues.41518/
If you want to see this mod to work with NASSP, I recommend to use the NASSP fork by @CaptainSwag101 (see here: https://www.orbiter-forum.com/threads/nassp-openorbiter-compatibility-thread.40510/ ), for me branch OpenOrbiter3 in his repo was basically fine. Certainly it is not an "official" version, there are some bugs and missing features. However it is worth the effort to install, roaming around on the LRV in the improved quality Hadley-Appenine region is quite an experience!
