anim8or alternate

I cannot seem to get my anim8or program to work on my win764 bit PC. does anyone have a fix or an alternate program that I can use so I can try out a tutorial lol.

What's wrong with it? Mine works fine apart from a few graphic glitches here and there, I'm also using 64-bit W7.

actually, it never installed. only got an execution file. I did try running as administrator and nothing happened

Wings3D is a good, free one that takes some time to get used to..but it's good. Blender is also free

Missing 756 Windows versions is an easy mistake, if you go software shopping with a TARDIS.

Blender is probably your best bet, although it has a really steep learning curve. There are plenty of good tutorials around for it though.

On a side note, I also had problems with anim8or on my Win 7-64 platform. I'd like to say I did some great hack and fixed it, but in reality anim8or just started working after a routine driver upgrade (Nvidia).

So, try that.

I suppose I can, I do have blender and ya it is very hard but more open to creativity.

Perhaps the openGL driver? Just a random guess for what it's worth

I'm running "anim8or_v095c" on win7 x64 also. No install, no 'run as admin', no 'winXP compatibility mode', no nothing, just running it clean.

If I can find that driver, for now I'm using blender still a pain in the a** to learn but I guess I can use it
