Hi David413 will probably not like me for this. But I am just curious to know if anybody uses addons for this great project. If you do what addons and what works good with what versions of Shuttle Fleet including newest version. Just for Kicks. Sorry Dave. Thanks

I used to have Shuttle Fleet 4.0.x in my main Orbiter install and I went as far as changing all the SolSTS references in the scenarios to Sol so it would use Hi-res KSC, include all planets/moons etc (OuterPlanets), and had no problems with it.

How did you get it to work with HI-RES KSC and all the outer planets and moons can you please give me some instructions on how to do this. Thanks

Are you absolutely sure you installed the shuttle fleet correctly? Are you testing in a clean installation?

What specific add-ons do not work for you? Remember that just because a specific add-on does not work for you with the shuttle fleet does not necessarily mean that it's a shuttle fleet problem. The more specific you can be about the problems you are having, the more we can help.

Oh no problems with it. I was just wondering what addons besides the ones that you are suppose to put it, are people using with it. But I would like to know how to add HI-RES KSC and add all the outer planets and moons like 2552 talks about. Thanks

As far as add-on compatiblity goes, any properly-written add-on should work with any other properly-written add-on. The shuttle fleet is a high-quality add-on, so all other properly-written add-ons should work with it.

To put it another way, a more useful question might be, "What add-ons do not work with the shuttle fleet?"

Will Slats Newest HI-Res pad v3 work with v 415, and also KSC HI-RES, and if so how do I set it up correctly. Thanks

What I did was use BK Replacem (a mass search-and-replace program) to change all the Sol_Alt references in the scenario files to just Sol, so it would use the main solar system which included OuterPlanets and Hi-res KSC. However, the Shuttle and launch pads were positioned incorrectly, so I moved them to the correct position, also using BK Replacem.

Here are the coordinate replacements I used. Here's how to move the Launch pads and Shuttle:
Unzip the Shuttle Fleet to its own folder (not in the Orbiter folder)
1. In BK Replacem, go to Replace > Add Group
2. Go to File > Import Search/Replace Table and import the file I linked to.
3. Go to Replace > Insert Files To > New Group
4. Click Use folder, change the Include file filter to *.txt, and browse to the Shuttle Fleet folder and select it
5. Go to Replace > Start Replacing

To move the Shuttle Fleet into the main solar system (with OuterPlanets and Hi-res KSC), do the same thing, but with this replace table file instead.

Then install the modified Shuttle Fleet as usual.

Where it says File Information click on moveshuttlelaunchpads.txt.

I certainly don't mind the use of other add-ons, I only ask that people start with a clean installation so that if they have problems we have a common installation to start troubleshooting from.

4. Click Use folder, change the Include file filter to *.txt, and browse to the Shuttle Fleet folder and select it

2552, shouldn't the include filter be "*.scn" to work on scenario files?

I still don't understand what you mean 2552, and Dave 413 great job as always with shuttle fleet 415. Is everything in v401 and up to 411 included with v415 and what about the ISS fleet nasa aircraft fleet and all the sts missions just confused on how to install them it would be nice to hear it from the horses mouth Thanks

Oops, you're right, sorry, "*.scn" it is.
