Hi,
I re-check my notes from Apollo 11 mission from Lift off to Lunar Touchdown, and I have seen some small “incongruences” in the checklists as follow.
please, note I was using the version 1756 to run this mission, so maybe in the new release these my comments might not be applicable, I let you decide of course.
1) In the “Start G&N PTC” checklist “MAN ATT ROLL” should be in “ACCEL CMD” to reflect the same label on the cockpit switch … isn’t it? (see photo 1)
2) Should not be written “VENT” in the checklist instead of “OPEN”? to be consistent with the panel rotary knob indication? see photo 2.
3) During RCS COLD FIRE the following discrepancies are there between the checklist and the LGC registers indications:
TTCA (Cold Fire) Check: CDR TTCA UP -> R1 shows 00210 checklist says 00252 (photo 3)
TTCA (Cold Fire) Check: CDR TTCA DOWN -> R1 shows 00021 checklist says 00125 (photo 3)
ACA (Cold Fire) Check: CDR ACA PITCH UP -> R1 shows 00052 checklist says 00051 (photo 4)
ACA (Cold Fire) Check: CDR ACA YAW LEFT -> R2 shows 00052 checklist says 00051 (photo 4)
All others combinations are OK.
4) I started from the default “Apollo 11 - 18 - After Docking T+128h23min” to practice ops after docking till splashdown … and I saw that the “day number” in the text is not congruent with the GET time, namely:
at about GET 138h we are in DAY 7 (according A11 Flight Plan) but the checklist says “day 4” – see photo 5;
at about GET 181h 30m we are in DAY 9 but the checklist says “day 4” – see photo 6.
Regards.
