Critical yellow warning at IVT

I started T +41h 50m Apollo 9 v8 “into LM” and the CMS O2 HOSES connected once both tunnel hatches were opened. At 42:00:00 I went into the LM to do all activation steps mentioned in the LM and I got immediately the LMP in CRITICAL conditions. So I have LMP in the suits in the LM without the LM ECS running, CSM O2 HOSES Hose connected via MFD. Once inside the LM, on the MFD ECS page, I enter CRW=1 (in the CSM I have CRW=2) and get yellow critical warning. Please give me a detailed instruction how to move LMP into LM without a critical warning.

I think it's got to do with the suit and the cabin temperature in LM. They are only 40 F (the lowest) and I don't know how to increase the temperature. Have set the suit temperature to max in LM but it does not seem to increase the temperature visibly but the MFD now shows green OK. Any suggestions from the specialists?

This was one of the pre saved missions? If so they probably are behind with respect to updates elsewhere in NASSP, so that is probably why your cabin temp was so low. Also, the suit temp valve redirects warm glycol flow, so if your glycol is still cool putting it to hot will only warm if the suit temp is colder than the glycol in the primary loop. I have made recent improvements to this but it does still stay around 40-50 at the moment.
Best way to warm up the LM is having it all powered up, crew in there, and (as silly as it sounds) all the lights on.

We've also been working on a fix for the cold LM problem (and some other thermal radiation problems) for a while. This will eventually get merged and fix a bunch of things and make radiative heating and cooling much more realistic.

Thanks for your reports! Fantastic work you are doing and it is appreciated. No it was not a pre saved mission but Apollo 9 launch scenarios. The temperature in the CSM started to rise after I activated the cabin fans, thanks for the tip. Getting the suit temperature up and stabilized was more difficult but ended up at about 60 F which was ok (tried to regulate with heat exchanger). The critical yellow warning at LM (MFD) also disappeared after a while after connecting to the LM ECS. Suit and cabin temperature at LM was still very low but may rise with time.

Another thought did you press the LM with a cold CM cabin by chance?

Yep I would concur as well, it should warm up.
