Hi all,
Just wanted to share some pictures of my work on a new space vessel:

This is a successor to the half-finished http://www.orbiter-forum.com/showthread.php?t=6399&highlight=lastotjka

I don't have a name yet, but in the end it will just be a better Lastotjka.

Not sure I would have used a forward swept wing on a space plane, but it does look very cool

Do those wings fold forward?

looks pretty awesome
Thanks :) This is the most advanced 3d-model I have ever done. I learned a lot by doing it!

Yea, I have no idea how this design would behave in reality. Do you think that the wings could easily be snapped off by sudden pressure changes or something?
The forward-folded design of my last ship was dropped. have some thoughts of being able to fold the wings downwards to use more as "fins".

I can't wait either! Takes a real effort to sit down and work on it tho.
For the record, the design inspiration comes from a sort of fuse between the Mi-24 helicopter and the 2-seated Mig-29 training version (which has a wonderful shape of the front I think).

It looks huge! Looking forward to seeing how it looks when you're done
Have not settled on size yet. Want to keep it in some close-to realistic setting.
