Today, October 14, 2009, marks the 62 year anniversary of the first time the sound barrier was shattered by Capt. "Chuck" Yeager. 15 years later, men were travelling into space. Now, we are sending probes deep into the solar system. Happy Anniversary :)!

Good of you to have reminded us, Star Voyager. Anyone interested in further reading, I recommend this book. I read (devoured) it when it was first published. An excellent account....

Thanks! By the way, I think your link is bad. It says it's not funtioning.

What a coincidence! My mom had this book autographed by Chuck 20 years ago :speakcool:. She gave it to me to read. Fantastic book! Thanks again, Kieth !

Good old Chuck. In this world, there are but few true badasses. One of them walks among us, and his last name isn't Norris, it's Yeager.
