Well, the problem is known, its just sad that it isn't yet at least fixed by a hotfix, while waiting for the perfect solution. I would also like to use my gamepad, which currently isn't identified.

Well, first of all, the PC card have a worse antenna. Or have the antenna in an unfavorable location. Also how old is the card?

One reason more to give the new version a chance. Also, if we promote Orbiter better, we can have a lot of new players, the niche is there for us to claim: KSP is likely also not seeing any new updates or DLCs. The last update was 4 years ago. I am not sure if KSP was Unity based, but it did...

    Request Long March rockets

There are many things to "keep the sim" alive and I suspect, none of them is actually of technical nature. Add-on developers retire. Thats it. New ones follow. That also happens. We just have too few Orbiter 2024 players that could evolve into Orbiter 2024 add-on developers, because too many...

Actually, we already have a comparable replacement with UACS for Orbiter 2024. https://www.orbiter-forum.com/threads/universal-astronaut-and-cargo-system-uacs.40591/post-597770 https://github.com/abdullah-radwan/UACS

Well, I would rather want to save some capacity for the 1980s Germany map.... :D (This map, the CH Germany pack and the "Luftverteidigungsdiesel" are made for each other) Can somebody successfully download the Russian asset pack from CurrentHill? Its my fifth attempt now from the third mirror I...

You can move your complete "Saved Games" directory to a new location (you find the action in the properties, inside the path tab, of that special folder), if that helps you. Also you can move the full user/home directory to a new location, but that is a different kind of escalation.

For those who are interested, currenthill just updated its Russian assets module to version 2.0.0, it now containing lots of old Soviet army gear badly missing in DCS. https://www.currenthill.com/

Simple. I have a notebook with too few USB ports to support my Thrustmaster HOTAS + Rudder pedals. And spending 100 € for DCS over the last 8 years isn't as bad, just use the sales properly. Most modules I ordered during my more active period. In the last years, I just followed the latest...

Now how does that look like? The mission slowly comes together, the context of the mission is already written. The mission itself is a bit too easy right now, despite a lot of EW in the region, after I added all known SAM sites of the period along the coast. I am still a bit undecided on how...

Using a lazy day of just me and my flu for crafting something more challenging. Time frame late 1983, trying to add some good radar fixes for such long distance navigation. Most of the mission is at 240m (~750 ft). Sadly, even the currenthill pack for Sweden lacks some material of that period...

Finishing a small low-level flight exercise..... ...with a very good computer-guided standard landing, though for the wrong runway heading. Do you notice the Heading Alignment Cylinder (HAC) on the center screeen? Still left to improve: Be gentler on the stick on take off and after...

BTW, while searching for a solution for my mission editor challenges, I found this great guide on the Viggen: https://chucksguides.com/aircraft/dcs/ajs-37/#[1,%22XYZ%22,0,540,1] In many aspects better than the original manual, and especially good for understanding mission planning with the...

And with a less crosswind, I almost nailed the landing. I still need to find out how to set an airbase as L1 or L2 in the navigation, right now it displays me the waypoint as B6 (or just a regular waypoint).

Well, I would sure like to revíve that. But I don't think I'll be around much in MP with my old hardware and internet connection. Its still an experiment with the minimal. And yes, I also want to get into the F-4E one day.... I already own the module, but without throttle and stick, its going to...

After some severe case of withdrawal from flying, I decided to experiment with a gamepad and a good old friend: Sadly, my severe crosswind landing skills are as bad as ever, its pretty hard to land on a runway if you can no longer see your flight path on the instruments: (Was the third...

No rocket flies better than a Powerpoint rocket. (And what is the sense of having such a large empty volume? Did the graphical artist run out of time and couldn't create more details?)
