I’ve been an Orbinaut since the 2006 version, and honestly 2010 was the last “ complete version “ for me. I don’t have any programming experience, but for me the fun of Orbiter is challenging myself to build spacecraft, space stations and bases out of what’s available for resources. To that end...
Thank you! I am very interested in the mesh and textures for the CZ-5B, could make a multistage 2015 version for the Chinese Space Program I am building. I still use Orbiter 2010, due to having so much time invested in UMMU and UCGO. In any case, it's been great to follow your wonderful...
Is this addon dead? I recently became interested in the Chinese Space Program and came here looking for any addons or models that were available. The work so far on the CZ-5 and launch site is awesome! What happened?
These are fantastic! I still use Orbiter 2010 because I have too many hours into UMMU and UCGO to give them up. These textures breathe new life into my build. Thank you.
Thank you. I am running Orbiter 2010, and I did finally land the Ares successfully! The chute worked better than I thought, and I used HoverMFD for the final landing. Again, great add on, I'm looking forward to the 2016 version.
Hello, I know it has been a long time since this release, but I love this add on and just got back into it after watching the Netflix show For All Mankind.
I am having trouble determining just what to do in the various scenarios, do you have any additional documentation available? I am...
Just wondering if anyone ever found a fix for this. Many mods have HUDs that don't display. For example Pegase CTV and Phoenix Lander. The Vessels of 2001 Discovery. I am using them and boy it is tough when you can't see which airlock you are using, which crew member you have selected, etc...
I have all the perturbations turned off, but I will confirm and try again. Anyway the first stages perform nominal, it’s after staging that the remaining vehicle tips down to an aoa of -20 or -30 degrees.
I was so excited to play with these addons in Orbiter 2016, I loved them in 2010. However the ascent autopilots do not seem to be working correctly. I have tried proton and Soyuz launch scenarios, and both never make it to orbit. After stage 1 separation, the vessels nose down below the horizon...
I had trouble docking the Shuttle with PursuitMFD, but Dragon and all other spacecraft I've tried have been fine. That's strange, looks and sounds like everything is set correctly.
EDIT: Actually, I see that Docking MFD on the right is using VIS mode, I wonder if PursuitMFD doesn't like that...
Guys, PursuitMFD autodock works great with Dragon, just follow my post above. ;) I can do a video tutorial when I get a chance, I've got to go get a rototiller today. Real life calls!
I use the autodock in PursuitMFD all the time and it works great. You have to be already on the same side of the target vessel as the target dock, because it works blindly. Then use TGT to set your target vessel, and LDK and TDK to set your local dock and target dock. Then I set the distances to...
