I uploaded the models to Orbithangar. Can anyone turn these meshes into fully functional ships? I know it's been done already, but these models are well-set up and Colored.

I just updated the file. Now the Ships are Colored and I threw in the Vaygr as well.

I made this request a while back. Still, It would be cool to see Halo ships in Orbiter.

Ok Why did you hinge The Gigantic door on the Mothership? It's supposed to float off, release or retire a ship, and then float gently back on the ship's cheek.

Well are there any freeware modeling programs that support .mtls for .objs?

Does Anim8or support .obj files with .mtls? If so, How are .mtls used in Anim8or?

If you are horrible with texturing, improvise with mesh detailings.

Use mesh to improvise the textures if you can't make them.

Sorry about the bump, but I am currently working on extracting Homeworld 2 ship files and converting them into .obj format. They will be up for grabs when I post them though. So far I got the Interceptor and Mothership complete.

I have both games, and I am not a fan of X-plane since when I tried to fly an F-22, the controls were all confusing, I pulled up, part of the engines were draggind into the ground, Where in God's name am I supposed to change the realism settings? Plus it gets lonely in X-plane.
