How clear does the sky have to be for this to be enjoyable? I live in a village close to a big city, and even though the night sky can be pretty clear there's too much "light contamination" in my area it seems... Thanks!

Thanks, but I'm looking for a more "slipstreamed" solution than installing and configuring all those addons. Surely there is somebody who can zip and upload a couple hundred megs of Orbiter :)

Hi, I was once an active member of this community but I haven't "orbited" in many many years - I kinda dropped out of the scene in around 2005 after I couldn't get any help from anybody regarding some weird Transx fly-by maneuvre involving one of the moons of Jupiter... :D Now I'm looking into...

I'm installing the demo right now, it just struck me as an Orbiter ripoff from the first look at the screenshots and the video. You even get the FPS counter and camera object name in the upper right corner of the screen in external view... We've all seen cases of people trying to make a buck...
