I was just experimenting with reaching orbit with a DG-S, and i got my ApA to about 1.5M (time acceleration), and then I was planning on burning at the PeA to bring that down...I hit the earth so hard it crashed the program.
LOL

I guess Orbiter can't simulate relativistic bombs, then. :P

It might be because of some other reason you CTD'ed, usually when I crash at high velocity, I go through the body I crashed with.

I remember making a HARP shot from moon with 10000 km/s, it also sent me right trough the earth.

whenever I crash at high speed i just bounce right off and go shooting into space at something like 500 km\s. I just CTD when I get to the end of the f:censored:ing universe..and it doesnt save the scenario...

CTD?
I crashed again...this time it was a faulty TLI (i was more then a degree off when i burned)...and when i sped up time for fun...it crashed. I guess to many calculations

Where did it CTD? When you hit a body, or on your way to/from the moon? I've gotten CTDs when moving from Earth's SOI to the moon's and vice versa... has something to do with some MFD(s).
