The puns on the "ridiculous polls" thread gave me this idea. (I think I've seen it done before on other forums, so it's more like it reminded me).
We start out with a single word. Each person that posts in the thread takes the word in the post before theirs and puts in a word somehow associated with that word (similar spelling, pronounciation, meaning, whatever).
For example: Poll->Pole->stake->steak->hamburger.
So in the course of five posts, we go from "poll" to "hamburger."
So, let's start out with an appropriately themed word:
Orbit.
Let the madness begin...
