Orbiter Screenshot Thread

Which scn was it. I couldn't find it. Was going to see how the 2016 looked?

It's a scenario I slapped together after the SpaceX SSO-A launch (note the date of the scenario). It requires [ame="https://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=2481"]STS Payloads[/ame], [ame="https://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=1331"]Kev's SLC-6 add-on[/ame], and [ame="https://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=6752"]STS-66[/ame]. I have about 50 or so other scenarios of cancelled/remanifested missions from 1984-1989 if you're interested.

SSU, right? Are you using the TAA between the External Airlock and the forward bulkhead? (it doesn't appear so) That was needed so the ODS was aft enough to allow the RMS to "dock" the Node (and the Mir Docking Module in STS-74). It is configured by a parameter in the mission file.

Yes SSU, I didn't that, thanks ! I set useTAA and AftTAA on TRUE now :)

Should it be like this ?

Actually, Zarya was captured by the RMS and placed on to the Unity module.

Yes, this is where the crew encountered some problems in actually keeping the active APAS on Zarya properly aligned with the passive APAS of PMA-1.

This is where flight experience came in handy as CAPCOM Chris Hadfield remembered that they had encountered the exact same problem on STS-74 which saw the Shuttle/Mir Docking Module installed on Atlantis's Orbiter Docking System prior to the rendezvous and docking with Mir. So he suggested that they try to ungrappling the RMS from Zarya and retract it just like it was a normal docking. And this ended up working very nicely as the very next attempt saw complete success in mating Zarya to PMA-1.

Hooo I see now, I wondered how they did it haha. I'm sure they didn't have [DockingMFD] didn't they xD haha

Anyways, my lastest screenshots, I never tried to do the CRS, this is CRS-15 :)

G'Nite !

I made a new docking mechanism for the Service Air Lock.

It has to be done with Attachment manager, but it works. Undocking is a different problem. I wish that the docking position didn't capture, when moving backward in Orbiter. :(

AftTAA = false, so it is placed forward of the ODS.

Hi there, does somebody know on wich attachment point the Canadarm v4 SSRMD should be on ?

I thought it should be on Harmony like the previous one but apparently I get this result

I still have that problem, is there something to do with Harmony too ?
It looks like I have to update something but I don't know what :p

On my end, when a F9 miss the landing, I didn't know there was a script to make the explosion haha :) Good one !

EDIT:

Using the GenericCameraMFD in the Cupola to see with the RMS camera is awesome !

I wonder if the guys behind the SSU will make it usable for the camera with the Space Shuttle :)

It's on my todo list... but so are many other things.
