Vessel New Glenn addon inspired by BrianJ's Falcon 9

This is what I have for the new Glenn NG3. Hopefully I zipped everything. Still working on tiles. I add 4 spotlights to show the New Glenn. should launch at 06:45 UTC April 16.

Thanks to @BrianJ for the Falcon9 which a lot is based on.

This is for 2016. Might work in 2024. Got to have spotlight2 to see the ship.

After the launch the ASt payload may get updated

So The one thing I saw which might need to be changed.
It seems only 1 side of the fairing has the label.
I saw that the launch date has changed

@BrianJ
This is weird. So when I launch the NG is lifts off but dances around and then straightens up

Here is a video of the launch.
I am using the Falcon9 code. I wonder if I should use the Falcon HVY as the NG is more powerful than the falcon 9?

I got it to work. And got it to change to different models/textures

So my question and I need help to the scn. Is NG powerfull enough to get the MK1/mk2 to the moon?
Can someone build a launch scn. I just the date and time.

Like I have said I am using the Falcon9 code. So could a Falcon9 get the mk1/mk2 to the moon?

So the NG puts the mk2 in this orbit? I wonder if it is good or needs to be changed?

Still not in orbit... are you using the upgraded BE-3Us?

Thanks. I am basically using the Falcon9 code. changing meshes and exhausts,.....

I noticed the 2nd stage sep around 75 meters?

I think I could make a NG using ms2015 BUT then the 1st stage landing would not work.

so 2nd stage used 2 BE-3U 890KN thrust each. so thrust would be. 1780 KN

1stage should be 7 BE4 thrusters @ 2,800 kN or 19600KN

not sure on the specs as far as masses,.......

Ideas? Like I have said it is basically the Falcon9 specs and new glenn meshes.

So could the Falcon9 get a vessel into Low Earth Orbit?
if so do we have a scenario?

Not sure if I use the Falcon9 code and then make the thrusts, masses,.... to the New Glenn. We know the thrust but not the fuel, masses,.....

Thanks.
gives us a total mass of 2,500,000 kg
thrust of 17,100 kN
So I wonder how much of that is fuel,..... and 2nd stage?......

falcon9 isp
const double STG1ISP0 = 2767;
const double STG1ISPV = 3051;

const double STG1MAINTH0 = 2846000;
th_main[0] = CreateThruster(_V(0, 0, -31), _V(0, 0, 1), 7 * STG1MAINTH0, hProp1, STG1ISPV, STG1ISP0);

be 4 isp is 340 s (3.3 km/s)
const double STG1ISPV = 3300

not sure what this should be?
STG1ISP0

THRUSTER_HANDLE VESSEL::CreateThruster ( const VECTOR3 & pos, const VECTOR3 & dir, doublemaxth0, PROPELLANT_HANDLEhp=NULL, doubleisp0 = 0.0, double isp_ref = 0.0, double p_ref =101.4e3 )const

and need to adjust masses?

But I wonder about the launch guidance angle and orbit parameters

I used the parameters from ng3 thanks @Niker
I relocated the Landing pad to the new location.

@BrianJ any ideas. The first stage is the same specs as the falcon except for thrust, cross section and PMI. Maybe I need to adjust rcs???

And when it is trying to get to Orbit. I noticed the 2nd stage rotates slowly on the X axis.

Here is a video of the launch.
issues. from the control panel MECO is at 206.43. She separates before that?

Still no good 1st stage landing. And you notice the rotation of the 2nd stage.

@BrianJ
scn:
SOPR 0.8621927 460000.0 460000.0 35972.0 206428.8 LZ1 1.5708
sprintf(cbuf, "%0.7f %0.1f %0.1f %0.1f %0.1f %s %0.4f", tgt_inc, op_meco_alt, op_tgt, fuel_reserve, ap_tgt, refname, pitch_angle);
so the ap_tgt is 206428.8.

@BrianJ any ideas.
Sorry, but I really have no idea of what the problems are.
Certainly, just changing the Falcon9 code thrust/mass/fuel numbers, will not work.
You need to change all the guidance algorithms as well 🤷‍♂️
Sorry I can't help more.
:cheers:
