Project Space Shuttle Vessel

The attachment is on the keel pin of the SpaceHAB and the coordinates are correct, no mixing up of positive or negative.
Now all of a sudden, everything is correct. Not sure what made it finally decide to put things in the correct locations.

Anyone know if the DAP config is modelled?
More specifically A8-B8 and A9-B9
I'm not sure how much is implemented in there... I know you can edit the DAP tables in SPEC 20, but there is only one DAP A and one DAP B, not the 15 tables for each. I changed the defaults a while back, so DAP B provides fine control, which is very useful for docking, and DAP A is a bit more brute.
In v2.0, all of the options should be available in SPEC 20, along with pre-flight configuration of each of the 30 tables in Mission Editor. Until then, we'll have to live with the existing limitations

Is there a good reference on what flights had the payload bay liner and the other vent doors? I cant seem to find anything
The vent doors 4 and 7 were active on all flights until the Orbiters went to Palmdale in the early 90s (except Endeavour, which never had them active). At this late hour, I remember that for Columbia it was between STS-40 and 50, and for Atlantis between STS-46 and 66 (and Discovery between STS-42 and 48???).

For the liner, you'll have to find photos of the PLB and check if it was installed or not, as it was something used as needed.

For the SPEC 34 I-LOADs, how does the EL Array work? MC-2 has an Elevation, but the I-LOAD has 0.507367, and SPEC 34 shows 29.07. how is the conversion for this done? For context I'm planning out 51A. Also will doing a double rendezvous cause any weirdness with SPEC 34? in the flight plan for 51A they refresh the rendezvous I-LOADs by doing a OPS 8 transition and then back to OPS 2.

0.507367 rad = 29.07º

Nice!
After the first rendezvous, you'll have to exit Orbiter, and edit the scenario to change the target vessel to the second sat (can't remember which one it was), before starting the second rendezvous. Look for parameter TARGET_VESSEL, and change the vessel name after it.
BTW: the first target is specified in the Mission Editor.

in the flight plan for 51A they refresh the rendezvous I-LOADs by doing a OPS 8 transition and then back to OPS 2.
That would be to reload OPS-2 with the default (I-Load) values, to basically cleanup any changes made to those variables during the (first) rendezvous. Not sure that will work in SSV... if you try it, let me know the result.

Watching some YT videos, some people are operating the CBs on panel R14, but they don't respond when I click on them. Any ideas why? I've tried reinstalling SSV, but no dice. (Orbiter 241231 & SSV 1.15) Probably operator error, not the most computer literate ever. Haha

Hi there!
If you left-click and hold the CB, it will toggle. If it doesn't, then most likely that CB isn't functional yet.
BTW: I recently added a section to the manual on how to operate the virtual cockpit controls, you should check it out.

Is there a way to set custom VC switch positions in the mission editor? i can do it manually after the launch scn is created, but i was wondering if there was a "Scenario Parameters" option for the OV itself.

The switches should be positioned as they would be at that time of the countdown... I don't really see the idea of wanting something different, but you can always edit the scenario after it is created. 🤷‍♂️

from what ive seen on the early flight data files, some things (mostly on R1) are different from the default in SSV. But i am going off of STS-1 and STS-8 since those are the only early ones we have unless more are online somewhere.

Hmm, I see... the good thing is that there is no PRSD or EPS yet, so those switches are just for show, but power for payloads during launch and different heater settings for different numbers of tank sets will have to be handled eventually.

all the power stuff ends up in the same position by T0. small things like the O2 and H2 tank heaters are off till T+5m, when the B heaters are set to auto.

AAAAAhhh. It was the "and hold" bit I was missing. TY for the help, and the great mod work!

Is there a way to turn up the C&W Master Alarm? It's awfully quiet in-game but sounds right when played in an external player.

AFAIK, there is no volume control in the audio XRSound... I think having it is preferable to editing files.

I think something is wrong with v1.15 as I'm getting these sporadic CTDs. Nothing in any logs. They mainly happen early in the mission, during terminal count and up to and including the completion of the Post-Insertion checklist, so around T+3 hrs. No specific action seems to trigger them. Sometimes, the scenario doesn't even load, crashes right during loading of the main SSV module. This even happens on a clean install of Orbiter 2024/SSV v1.15.
