Starship anomaly, attitude control lost with two engines still reported running, still getting telemetry.
 
And loss of telemetry, looks like it has disassembled itself.
 
Oh, we did a 60s test firing this time, so it is fixed.

At what point does this failure of a programme get pulled? 8 flights and the best they've done is one banana to the indian ocean and that was on fire.
 
Meanwhile, the booster is being lowered.
 
Could it be a hotspot by the heat of the center engines, that weakened the structure of the regenerative nozzle?

It doesn't help... there's a reason why the nozzles are outside the rockets.
The Atlas rocket ilustrated this in the 50s.
