You know you're addicted to Orbiter when...

When you think that a Ferrari F1 with a Saturn F1 engine bolted on would be the most awefreakinsome thing ever to grace a circuit.

It would not grace a circuit. It would leave the circuit (not to mention the ground) far too rapidly for "grace" to be anything near the right word.

Well, probably you're right. "Grace" is not the word. Maybe "tear up", "melt" or "vaporize" but not "grace".

But you've got to agree that it would be, like, cool. Like in "hot", but "cool".

...when flying the space shuttle causes you to consistently start you final approach too high in real life.

Instructor: Ya, you're a little too high.

Me: Sorry, forgot this wasn't the space shuttle.

Instructor: Ahhhhh, what?

That's liable to freak people out severely.

Yeah no kidding right?

Try flying FSX to get back into 'airplane mode'

LOL

I think X-Plane would be better.

When any sound similar to DGIV or XR alarm sets your heart racing.

When you're on the highway, your wife is driving with you acting as navigator, and she asks you how long until the exit (3 minutes) and you answer "180 seconds to PDI".
Bonus points if she answers: "Roger, check descent engine gimbal to OFF".

(at my job, we use carts that have little scooters on the back, so You can get up to speed and just coast along. It even has a wheel brake)

You know you're addicted to orbiter when you make your cart do S-turns to slow down (guilty) :P

I do S-turns with my Bike, and when intercepting in FSX, just because it works so well.

When you spend hours with converters and tutorials to try and make an add on...

Then it ends up looking like garbage but you're still happy that you made your first "spacecraft"

when your friends found out that you trained yourself for windows speech recognition not for controlling your computer but to run DGIV by voice command.
