Updates Blue Origin announces the New Glenn Orbital Launch Vehicle

They are launching a big chunk of air....
... and none of it is getting into space :ROFLMAO:
It's slightly better than what the first Delta IV Heavy carried on its first launch almost 20 years ago (going to be 20 on December 21), which was an inert mass simulator (DemoSat) payload securely bolted to the Payload Attach Fitting (PAF) on the DCSS along with two tiny nano sats.

Venting at the rocket stopped.... pressurizing tanks?

Nothing happening at the top of the hour + no venting at all for quite sometime now = empty tanks 😒

Another day, another tanking... and maybe static firing?
Live stream

Now a dedicated live stream for the possible test firing:

Still some venting near the rocket, but doesn't seem much...

According to the posts in the video chat (not sure how informed they are), there might be another attempt in the next 30 minutes.

Somehow caught that one 2 minutes away but of course, abort. Someone on NSF chat claiming to be looking at the official clock saying next attempt in 45ish (edit: so 7:45 local).

Have the stream open but missed it... 🤦‍♂️
Ignition happened at 7:47 pm EST (0047 UTC December 28). Around 15 seconds long based on how long the noise lasted.

Went back, and it is at 19:47:00 EST: a puff of smoke on the left of the vehicle, and no light as I can tell... the fog didn't help the image quality.
