Ok guys it's the noob again. I use to have Orbiter 2010P1 years ago and loved the towers, and had all my stuff set up pretty well, but a lot of the complexity I did not get into.. I again took interest and found much has changed, with the shuttle fleet, and the new Orbiter as well, although atm I am still using 2010. I have like 3 versions or more installed, because I am not the best with understanding everything yet and conflicting add ons, MFD"s and all that.. To the point. AMSCO... I want to have one orbiter set up for 2010 that is optimum just for apollo, and lunar stuff but mainly the apollo missions. There are ALOT of options, transx, transxv2, various MFD's and of course auto pilot only takes you so far. I found out it doesn't get you to the moon and back to just let run. Which is fine with me but I have to learn how to do this. I got the docking down, my preparing for TLI and burns is another story and I am only beginning to claim that I know ANYTHING about how to use all these things... ............ So could I get opinions on the best addons for simply Apollo, and if there is an order on how to install these I need to know, What MFD's, UMMU's whatever. Just the best set of add ons for the best Apollo experience possible.. What modules should be on and not. I really want to get better at this. And generous list would be nice. I have done a lot of searching.. And then the simplest tutorial for COMPLETE dummies, or cave man baby talk to help me understand how to accomplish a successful moon mission. I figure if I can get that down then I will be well on my way to becoming much better at Orbiter, and hopefully one day contribute to the modding community.. I have been learning a lot in a number of areas lately. Keep in mind I do NOT have a joystick.. I need to get one but whoever reads and helps, please keep me in mind. As always thank you all who develop, code, give advice. I noticed NASSAP requires a joystick so thats why I mentioned that. Anyway I just want a successful trip to the moon.. Also if I don't speed up time will it give me the full 3 day flight?? that would be awesome!!! Help lol I put advanced question due to the number of details. sorry if wrong by that. Also does it seem harder to get into orbit in 2016 than 2010, in general Atlantis launch. I can do it easy in 2010, seem to have issues in 2010...Happy to see the forum lighting up with ideas lately too. Thanks guys. Orbiter community is the best.
