Yup agree. 2 launches within a couple days, opposite sides of the continent ... flawless launches and landings. I guess it becomes routine at some point, but the amount of effort required to make this look easy must be ridiculous.

I'm looking at this first stage re-entry again - looks like it came in really hot and fast. I see some sparks coming off the bottom of the stage during the re-entry and the grid fins appear to get red hot from re-entry.

Maybe the re-entry burn was too short or otherwise mis-timed?

Something about a scorched and smoking rocket stage still landing as intended really stirs something primal in this engineer, I must say.
