Quite a few ships require the UCGO and Ummu but not these aren't updated for 2016. any idea how far off this is?

The whole Halley Armada probes (Giotto, Sakigake, Suisei, Vega 1 and Vega 2) works perfectly in Orbiter 2016!

...also, the Soviets finally beat the Americans on the Moon on Orbiter 2016:salute:

The Sovietic Lunar Program addon works in 2016

OrbiterSound 3.5 and its Radio MFD works in Orbiter 2016 without any problems!

I'm not talking about latest OrbiterSound 4.0, even though it has a CTD with Radio MFD.
I'm talking about outdated OrbiterSound 3.5, although I've tested this with D3D7 only. I shall test this in D3D9 soon...

Baikonur LC1/5 addon works now completely! Just replace the Module from the blc1arms.cfg into Module = blc1arms_pylon

Every .SCN file with R-7 (Soyuz) launches should then be:

The "standard" version of the Cygnus spacecraft from Donamy's [ame="https://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=6660"]Antares/Cygnus update[/ame] works perfectly

Satellites from thorton's [ame="https://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=3209"]Proton Launch Vehicle v2.2[/ame], from AsiaSat-3, Express, and Uragan-M also work without problems

The Proton launcher itself there bugs, however

I think such a post is necessary, but ideally it should be curated by 1 active person with admin rights, so that the OP stays up-to-date, because reading 17 pages of posts is too complex. We need a summary.

Edit : and if the active person gets busy by real-life (or hit by a PSB), it should be able to pass the torch to someone else and so on...

Would also be helpful if the download page for each add-on at O-H or wherever they are had a notation for which build they will work and what it needs to work. Many of them you have no idea which build they work in unless you try them out.

I think that issue has been raised before and of course you are right, it is imperative that add-on devs mention the Orbiter version in the addon title. Else its a mess, entropy is not limited to the physical world, it also works very well on information systems.

Like "Long March 5 LV (2016)" or "HelloMFD (2016 beta)"

Version was part of the upload process (a dropdown) until recently, but now it's gone. I wonder if it's temporary.
We used to be able to search by version, type of addon, etc. So that information exists somewhere.
I wonder if help is needed to restore OH to full functionality....

I also notice that if I use the searchbar for something I get a few kabillion returns that are totally disrelated to what I’m looking for.

Edit: But that’s typical search engine. Google and DuckDuckGo tend to do the same thing. I think they teach that in searchEngine101.
