OHM Corn Ranch

Donamy: Did you already see the latest mail from the Blue Origin mailing list? They show two pictures of the crushable ring on the underside of the capsule, including a one that shows the capsule when it is first lifted off the ground after the "one-parachute-failed" test.

Not sure what to do with the square plate on the underside - either it was installed before launch where the abort motor should be, or it was covering the hole of the abort motor after disarming the pyrotechnics.

I did see that. I don't know if I would like to be the one who installed it, if it were installed after landing.

Well, somebody has to handle the safe&arm devices on it, if it has large-scale pyrotechnics, like abort motors and retro rockets.

Remote power control to remove all electrical power from ignitors is not reliable enough - at least not as reliable as mechanically blocking the space between ignitor and propellant.

Another vehicle in the Assembly building.

Me too, recursive! Lovely model!
By a strange co-incidence started doing tiles today, probably September before they are finished.

By another co-incidence British Gas have finished(much muttering, but they were happy at the end of it).
I am now in the Hive...

Working on the South areas:

Doing about 10 tiles a day, usually speed up a lot when I get into it. Its not the level number as much as the terrain.
Last time I do a desert, all those rocks and straight roads, nightmare!

I've been using 2010.

OF Staff Note: This thread, the posts in it, and the attachments, were resurrected from a backup. Any posts prior to this notice may show signs of that in unexpected ways.

To Xyon and orb, many thanks for getting this back, I probably won't delete any work in progress in future!
Re Corn Ranch, just the tidy up of the tiles and that's it.
Thanks also to Fort for getting a copy of the relevant material. Much appreciated.

Sorry for necroposting, but is Donamy's New Shepard available anywhere? I can't find it on O-H.

It was never released on OH. It was in development while Orbiter2016 was being released. When SC3 was broken by it, development ceased.

I think I still have some meshes and an initial DLL with some big missing features there somewhere in my backups of last year. Aerodynamics had been too instable to release as well.

Shall I take a look at it?

Sure, if you want too.

Been looking for a NS addon. Sad to hear it had this fate.

And easier with a converter.
