I'll put some rubber there. But with carefull usage it shouldn't as plexi doesn't have sharp edges - laser melted them into nice round edges.

*another idea is to redo it in plywod but I was out of it last night.

Same here, sadly all attempts to train them into car mechanics fail. Despite their ability to crawl through the tightest spaces in your engine to find the single most expensive cable in it.

BTW, if you are around here and having some time for touristic ventures, visit the Otterzentrum in Hankensbüttel. Not only a pretty special kind of zoo, since they are devoted to the protection of all marten-like animals, they also help defending your car against martens... VW even tests their cables there now, for finding out which kind of insulation is less attractive for martens.

I passed through Philadelphia on the way to New Jersey today. My goodness, the pollution is an outright abomination there. :blink:

In 2009, a bird interrupted power to LHC cooling by tossing in a "bit of baguette".
In that instance, the bird lived and continued to eat its (possibly toasted) baguette.
