Finally after two days I finished the 3D model of my new HR-1. The design is inspired by the bird [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barn_swallow"]Hirundo rustica[/ame].
I will try ways to export the skp file to msh. So far I've gotten is a model without exterior walls.

IIRC the proposed direct ascent mode of a lunar mission involved using a 2-man Gemini capsule

I guess Gemini 7 proved that sitting in that thing for two weeks isn't the best thing you could do to your astronauts...

No, but it proved you could do it if you really had to.

If all you wanted to do was beat the Soviets to the moon, it might work. After landing, you'd have very little to work with as far as equipment. Probably open the hatch, climb out, walk around a little (Look, Ma, I'm on the moon!), and then head for home.

All the while carrying a 3-day load of crap in your diaper...yeah, that would've sucked!

And to add gas to the fire, they sell Nutella at the duty-free. Why would you sell something if it wouldn't get past security control if it had to? This stinks of hypocrisy.

Let me guess, there are about 3 jars on the shelf? Sounds like a racket to me  They're probably repeatedly selling the same 3 jars of Nutella.

1. Sell
2. Confiscate
3. Restock
4. Repeat
5. $$Profit$$

Why bother with 1 thru 4?

1. Confiscate the money (No weapons allowed. What, you never hear of papercuts?!).
2. $$Profit$$

Driving back home from the train station, when the car makes a "beebabloo" warning sound and displays the rather vague message "Engine damaged, repair immediately". Noticeable drop in power happens, but no strange vibrations, no check engine light, no oil level warning light and the message itself appears to be more of advisory type rather than warning (yellow LED instead of red).

Restarting the car makes it behave normally for 4-5 km.

It might be a software problem regarding conflicting temperature readings in cold weather, from what I've read.

Reading that I thought you had a Skoda Fabia, too. Someone thought it'd be a good idea to make that car make a hell of a sound when it's driving and the temperature falls under 4°C because the road might be slippery. You're driving along on the Autobahn, minding your own business, complaining about Audis driving stupid and suddenly...AAAAAAAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! "WHOA, :censored:! WHAT'S WRO...oh, 4°C.

It's especially funny when it has been under zero for a week, you start driving on a road covered in snow and after 50 meters or so your car is still like "UNDER 4°C WATCH OUT!" Yeah, no :censored:!

What type of engine does your car have?

The yellow engine symbol in Volkswagen or Skoda cars means "Problem in the exhaust system", possibly wrong readings of the lambda sensor. The car then switches into the emergency control program to make sure you don't kill your catalyser.

You should really have somebody read the fault memory of your car, here the official Volkswagen/Skoda/etc garages do that for free, the free garages often charge a small bit of money.

EDIT: And the low temperature warning is just a bell tone in all Volkswagen cars... The really important warning sounds are much more audible.

EDIT2: We can now buy Diesel fuel in Germany for .99€ / l ... people are raging here.

Ford Focus Mk3 with the 1.0L turbocharged I3.
The yellow I in the instrument cluster denotes an advisory message, while a red one denotes a warning. This when accompanied by some other message, like the one described above, in the LCD display in the cluster.

We've had it check out and no peculiar errors were registered in the fault memory.

OK, that's a problem.

Strange, but then, its hard to tell what such a Ecoboost engine does. Everything is variable in it, including the AC compressor and oil pump flow rates. But usually, you should have a sporadic event logged in the fault memory even when an advisory message pops up.

Hey! It's the bestest engine ever! :)

There was an error logged about a "stuck actuator". But after clearing it and doing a short drive we haven't been able to reproduce it and absolutely no anomalies were apparent.

 Only because some university professors say so....

Stuck actuator can mean a lot in this kind of engine, since you have quite a few actuators in it. Usually its throttle valve or EGR. If it happens again, maybe you have too much dirt already in the actuator body.

Why is there no "speed limit" on the Autobahn? I can't imagine myself going 180 km/h along a road with cars passing by at a faster speed.
