Betelguese in for a rough time?

Betelgeuse, Betelgeuse, ... :censored:

Since Betelguese is unstable anyway (it is predicted to go supernova anytime now) I highly doubt it will still be around in 5000 years to "meet" this wall .

Just like Yellowstone is predicted to erupt anytime now.

OK, anytime between now and in 50,000 years.

Similar for Betelgeuse, which is instable, but we have no idea, for how long it will be instable, before reaching final fatal stability.

Im not sure I follow.
The Leafs play the Canucks. Some time before the game, the Canucks go to Yellowstone. Yellowstone erupts, everyone dies. The Leafs win.

Edit: Well, that only gets them one game. I suppose every other team would have had to go to Yellowstone for them to win the cup.

Yes, it would be a show of a lifetime. It may be even visible in broad daylight!!!
Anyway, the night sky will be different for a couple of weeks.

Small relevance to Beetle....stuff. But why not:

Who says Oaisis are original///

Betelgeuse is expected to explode soon, i.e. within a million years. Five thousand years is only a fraction of that, but in a cosmic scale a million years is nothing. The idiom "not in a million years" is amusing for this reason, because I consider that amount of time to not be very long.
