Question level 10 earth for orbiter 2010-p1

I don't think there is a compatibility problem. Its a huge texture, but only a texture after all. All you need to do is to find a download link, and replace the level11 file by the level10 file (overwrite). Btw, isn't level10 the default texture that comes with the basic Orbiter2010 package ?

Nope, its' level 8. (I think)

Earth textures that come with Orbiter are level 8. If you install higher resolution textures (i.e. level 9 and higher) from the other set atop the Orbiter's, you need also level 8 textures from the same set, otherwise you will see seams when textures switch between level 8 and 9.
