Is it your picture? :)

Unfortunately not. The location is near a town where I lived for some years. It's an amazing place, the most breathtaking (and dangerous) road where I ever drove. Its name is Serra do Rio do Rastro, it lies on a mountain range full of green canyons. Here are some pictures I made there:

(Yes, we have some snow in brazilian winter)

And this is a video with a crazy rally driver doing some drifts there:

Interesting mix of rain, snow, sleet, hail, and tornados predicted for Oklahoma this night/morning. Temperature dropped from 77 to 33 in no time.

Currently:
32F, RealFeel 10F
22mph wind, 33mph gust

Walking across campus will be "fun".

Heading to Florida in two weeks for vacation with my GF. We were going to go to Vegas and see Criss Angel, but the timing just wouldn't work out with the flights, or try to find a sci-fi or comic book convention the week we are off, but apparently everyone in sci-fi and comic entertainment (and comedy, for that matter) is taking the same week off

Next year, she said she wants to plan our vacation around Comic-Con. :jiggy:

We stayed at the Luxor a few years ago, the wifey didn't want to see Chris Angel. But! She was interested in seeing "Menopause, the musical". I'm glad we saw it, it was hysterical. There was a woman setting next to me that was laughing so hard that I though she was going to wet herself. I laughed so hard I couldn't breath for almost 2 minutes.

It was particularly funny for us because of my wife's... uhh... well... Let's just say that there was some very familiar content in the show.

 We saw that musical listed when we were looking at shows last night. Glad to know it may be worth our time, if we get out there eventually.

We were actually looking at staying at the Luxor. We did kinda want to see Criss Angel, and on the night we were considering going, he is appearing with Cirque, so we would have gotten a twofer.

Just the two of us going though, and neither of us wants to be that far away from our kids right now. Too far to drive in the time that we have, and the flights/hotels/car just won't work out the way we need them to.

Probably looking at Orlando. Told her if we do I want to swing over to the Cape and see the shuttle if we have time.

A German Lufthansa Airbus A330 (Flight LH-435) had a sewere tail strike accident some weeks ago. It had a tail strike during take-off in Chicago and crossed the Atlantic with structural damage. The damage was sewere enough to limit the following transfer from Munich to Hamburg for repairs at the local Airbus factory to maximal 2000 meters altitude.

The accident has a resemblance to the JAL 123 accident, in which a 747 got a damaged rear bulkhead by a tail strike, which was incorrectly repaired and caused the biggest loss in human life in a single airplane accident a few months later.

Ugh, my internet hasn't been friendly to me for today.

I'm about to throw my damn modem out of the window in frustration.

Makes you wonder how many airplanes are out there who were incorrectly repaired and this faulty repair won't be noticed until a problem occurs...

Since accidents by wrong maintenance are quite common... ;)

But the Boeing did 12,319 flights before the bulkhead failed - 7 years after the incorrect repair.

A week alone with the wife without the kids... you are one lucky bastard!

I think there's something messed up in the denominator of the second fraction, assuming it was supposed to be ...*sqrt(0,5)*sqrt(16) the answer would be:
4863647630.0626158046427220398695

Assuming you don't have a telephone able to use fractions (and 6 hundreths are not that much) you'll end up with:
4863647630
which could be a polish number considering it starts with +48, while the 63 could be a polish number in the area of [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Konin"]Konin[/ame].
In the US the 486 numbers were never used, so my conclusion is that this arithmetic problem has given us a polish number.

Looks like I have too much free time/fun with maths/no hobbies/can't accept jokes.

Should we call it? Maybe it's like...aliens or something.

And gotta be a whole lot prettier;)
I'm resisting the urge to crack a joke...but I won't. I wish the best of luck to n122vu and his partner in crime.

It would be a sine to pass that offer up.
