Now working part time for H&R Block, doing people's taxes.
It's part-time and minimum wage, so it's not enough to meet my goals, but it's a start.

Numbers and computers are two of my strengths, and I enjoy the work:)

Good for you, grim here, and everywhere by the look of it. My cousin is just about keeping employed, his company should have work for the rest of the year, then its hope for the best!

You MUST explain to your first client how your goal is to get their tax return eccentricity down to 0.000.

Just burn the paperwork at the opposite end of periapsis.

Tax brackets are a little like launch windows and reentry corridors... You must hit a precise target if you don't want to skip back to an audit or crash and burn-up cash you could have recouped!

I'm glad to hear it! I know full well that protracted unemployment SUCKS. If you've got an aptitude for numbers and formulas, I'm sure you'll do great.

I've got a new full-time job about to start next week, delivering and setting up home medical equipment for discharged hospital patients. Pay and benefits are way beyond anything I've had before, but it also carries higher responsibility and exposure to dead/dying people than I've ever dealt with.
