Hi guys,

Due to some real-life commitments I've been out of space for a while, but I've started training again. I've been busy with the Deltaglider and succesfully build my own base on the moon, which was quite fun to do. But that's not the case here.

Recently, I've started simulating the complete ISS assembling. So far, I've succesfully launched Zarya, docked it on top of Unity and docked Zvezda on to the station. I'm currently docked to the ISS with Discovery on mission STS-92 which delivers the Z1 truss and the PMA-3. The problem I'm currently facing, is that I can't get the Z1 truss to 'dock' with the Unity Module. I've manouvered it around in every single way with the RMS, but I can't get it to dock. Now, I've read through the forum a bit and I've read in some topics that you can use the Scenario Editor to 'manually' attach the Z1 to Unity. Thing is, I have no idea how.. Do you use the standard Scenario Editor (F4 menu -> Custom -> Scenario Editor) or is it some kind of add-on?

So now I'm wondering, am I doing something wrong with the RMS or is this a known problem? I've uploaded a screenshot that shows my current situation. On this shot the Z1 truss was on the wrong side, so I'm trying the dock it on the opposite side which should be the correct side.

I'm using Orbiter 2010P1 in combination with Shuttle Fleet v4.7 and Thorton's ISS v3.2.

Thanks in advance! :)

i havent had this problem, but the F4 scenario editor, seems like it would do the trick

Thanks for you quick response! Then exactly how do I attach the Z1 to the Unity module using the Scenario Editor?

I've tried to make the ISS the 'active' ship and then press 'Edit' in the Editor. At the tab 'Docking' I should be able to establish a connection with some vessels and/or objects, but the Z1 doesn't appear in the dropdown list..

Thanks again.

im too sure, since i havent attempted what your doing, and im extremely unfamiliar with unity and its docking system. I would just experiment with the docking editor, see what button does what, etc. its a bit confusing, and may require a restart of the scenario, but after one or two (maybe 15) times of borking up, you will figure it out. good luck! and may probe be with you

I've just figured it out actually. It was a matter of opening the thermal cover on the Z1 side of the Unity module and then attaching it with the attachmant manager. It's in place now!
