Edit: Which reminds me of...

Actually an F-14 Tomcat. Note the off-center vertical stabilizer (suggesting 2) and the starboard variable-sweep wing mechanism is visible.

Every Tomcat pilot I've ever met had a sense of humor like that.

This is the RIO, not the pilot, though. I generally don't know that much about planes, with the exception of the F14. Played too much fleet defender back in the day... Felt more like a radar managment sim tan a flight sim most of the time, except when you had to land the thing on the carrier. That deck killed me a lot more than any enemy ever did

Fleet Defender. Ah, the memories. And the numerous curse words screamed at the computer screen...

I have to say, Ennio Morricone makes fantastic music for films. The Mission to Mars track is one of my favorites.

Anyone here seen The Expendables 2?

EDIT: My epic fail, I thought it already came out

It took til today for me to realize that I have half the time riding as when I last visited, since I don't have a return trip. :P
I think we're on hour 4 of 8 now.

Oh, and happy birthday! :D Maybe in a couple years enroll 13 hours away and drag your sister along.

She'll only be 2 hours away. She'll have plenty of opportunities to drive home and have us do laundry for her.

Yup. I've got the "luxury" of getting them online early in the morning - expecting anxious parent to be thrusting the laptop at me before I've even had breakfast...

Hope yours are good!

Sounds strangely familiar...

On the last leg of my trek to college now. Gonna meet the roommate and offer my family as a peace offering over dinner.

EDIT: Arrived at hotel! (move-in is tomorrow)
