I fully approve of a full-size DG on the server. Seems appropriate.

Where should I put it? Schweigerville seems appropriate but desert towns always seem to get infested more by creepers and skeletons during the night than in other places.

Like you see creepers hanging around the Saturn V.

Maybe next to the G42?

Now for something a bit different (again?)
Feed The Beast modpack (SMP)

Base of Operations:

Apiaries (bees, woohoo!):

Bee-related processing:

The MystCraft Nexus:

And Twilight Forest:

We're currently still exploring the modpack, and not really built anything nice yet, but we'll get to that :)

Fence it in and make sure everything inside the fence is bright enough to stop mob spawns and you'll be fine wherever you put it.

I think someplace near the existing collection of spacecraft would be good...

Is it fine if I put it right next to the G42 Concorde? If not, please show me exactly where on the dynmap can I put it.

I think it high time I share some of my minecraft endeavors.

First up, me and a freind build a reasonable approximation of Jorrvaskr.

Unfortunatly we then tried to use VoxelSniper to add terrain and Whiterun around it, and there may have been a small accident with some lava and the mead barrels...

More recently we made several attempts at several Super Hostile maps, but I don't have any pictures of that. (which is a shame really)

I do have some pictures of the time we tried the invasion mod. That one didn't end well for us either.

Finally, in my expansive singleplayer creative flatmap, I'm working on a massive floating Spleef arena. Pictures to follow...

In the game "Minecraft" by Mojang. Cool little indie game about blocks; not sure if you've heard of it yet.

...Okay, so it's a simple adventure map I'm constructing, with a few artificial towns, abandoned fortresses, and hideaways with loot and such here and there, in caves and on the surface. I've been playing Skyrim a lot over the break, and have been thinking that some of that kind of detail in a world might be cool in Minecraft.

Incidentally, do you know of any good maps with that sort of theme? Not an elaborate, super-cool and possibly mod-requiring superpack, just a pre-constructed world with some cool things for the player to come across?

Izack: Look up Hypixel's maps.
No mods required, texture pack recommended. One to four players.
I've done these two recently with a friend. Not too hard to host a server for just two people.

:hello:
Misa's 4.1.6, with GIMP tweaked colors and customized some of sprites.

Additionally I needed to tweak the water shader a little (and port block rendering part of it to ModLoader, to allow better grass), because Misa's water has by default purely white color and it's only colorized by MCPatcher/Optifine by custom biome color.

Dude that is just too freaking awesome. I've got to have JUST what you have. :p
Will you...?
(I've already tried to replicate your mod setup but it didn't quite work. So, will you...?) Pretty please? :3

Well, I can post only my own "Glowing Light Blocks" mod (with sources), my own replaced parts of the textures, and diff file of my changes made to the water shader effect files and the configuration (the Java part of shader mod you'll need to decompile with MCP (the best from 1.2.5), update to 1.4.6 and compile by yourself, since it wasn't yet officially updated to MC 1.4.6/7 :p).

I'm sorry, but you'll have to guide me through it, step by step :S
I'm just more of a visual guy, not a techy guy... :p
