I've become father somewhat prematurely, as our kids decided to "spill the beans" (rather the amniotic fluid) on saturday, and to start their journey to the light of day yesterday evening. A bit over two months before we expected them...

They and the wife are fine and wel taken care off, but life got somewhat busier...

Congratulations for a constructive contribution to the gene pool.

Hold on a second- was it a random drawing for the winner or the author of the 6000th post that wins? Or does the randomly selected person win if the author of the 6000th post fails to report the winnings? Which one is it? Why is this so confusing? Help me understand this cryptic logic! I can't figure it out! The universe is tearing itself apart and nothing means anything! Help me figure this out before

And you were confused about your own post, so there.

Actually, I did it all on purpose. :)

Anyways, I looked up "Postception" in the Oxford English Dictionary, and got this:

Postception - n. A post inside a post inside a post inside a post inside a post inside a post inside a post inside a post inside a post inside a post inside a post inside a post inside a post inside a post inside a post inside a post inside a post inside a post inside a post inside a post inside a post inside a post inside a thread.

The reason you cannot find it after having attempted to look it up to prove it isn't there is because I'm using OED Version 3.141592653589793238462643383279502884197169399...
The current edition is technically still 2, as 3 is in development, and I'm from the future (due to technical problems with the FTL drive) so I have access to version (see above).

Sorry to read that. This school has an international reputation of excellence, so I'm not surprised about the difficulty of the tests. There must be a lot of applicants.
