I'd put Apllo13 as best opening (and closing) titles/music.

For TV shows, I'd have Star Trek, Stargate, The Office, and NCIS.

It still irks me that they portrayed Mercury II as a Gemini capsule, and there are a few English messups, but it was a nice idea for an intro. :thumbup:

Not really the opening credits for a movie, but the music theme that introduced the antagonist Santa Maria in the German movie "Der Schuh des Manitu" sure deserves a special mentioning.
