The release date is a tuesday varying from 10-22-2009 to the end of the universe.;)

Does mine count?

Nope :) One date, people....one date....unless you think Martin will be releasing the next version one line of code at a time! ;)

And I just saw............RC1 is out!

Get those guesses in quickly, folks ;)

I'd agree with Tex in his logic of picking a roaming date, but then.. If I pick that Tex is wrong I get 6 roaming days.. Humm I'll pick that he's wrong ;)

Wait! Does Martin get to enter the contest? :)

It would really ruin my day if it did not come out on a Tuesday since the very first thing I learned here on the Orbiter forum was that Orbiter releases are always on Tuesday.

My guess is May 18, 2010 00:00 GMT.

Update: I obviously did not read the original post by canadave fully.:embarrassed: Sorry about that and thanks for not raking me over the coals as would be done in many other forums.

Nope, Martin is the one person in the universe who does NOT get to enter this contest ;) Aliens on Omega Centauri V are eligible to enter....Martin is not.

Just resurrecting this thread, since many of the guesses in here have come and gone with no Orbiter release ;) All guesses are still welcome!

Oct 18, 2012.
I think I'll do a real time trip to Europa while waiting on it.
Actually, whenever it's done is fine with me. Good things are worth waiting for.

My guess: Martin already has Orbiter 2010 ready, as is just waiting for the speculation to die down to release it. :)

Sometimes, :probe: means something else, when it says "the Orbiter 2010 release date is going to be March 9 at exactly 7:00 EST.". Sometimes it is about interpreting thy words correctly.

January 4, 2011, between 21:00 and 22:00
January 11, 2011, between 21:00 and 22:00
January 18, 2011, between 21:00 and 22:00
January 25, 2011, between 21:00 and 22:00

Questions:
Now that I joined the contest multiple times, do I also get multiple points for joining the competition?
Why wasn't it defined which time zone should be used?
What can I do with all these points? Is there a fixed exchange rate with the Euro?
