Request SSU tutorails

Are there any SSU tutorials available? I have done some forum searches and not come up with anything. I am trying to use the SSU with the Skylab 1980 addon

You are right, there are officially no tutorials for SSU, at least none I know and for the Skylab 1980 missions, you are effectively in the hands of the Skylab 1980 add-on for any tutorials.

Using the SSU shuttle for such operations is WAY harder than doing it with Shuttle Fleet, I recommend you to practice things the easy way first, before you switch to SSU and have to work by checklists and workbooks.

Exactly, and I recommend all three add-ons together with SSU. Shuttle Fleet is great and some sort of the reference for our SSU work, AMSO is a great add-on that deserves any praising (but not as much as the probe) and NASSP is the reference for SSU in terms of complexity.

You can attempt a lot of stuff already in SSU, but it is not done yet and we don't intend to make it easier than the real Shuttle. So, if you are fit with planning orbital maneuvers with Shuttle Fleet, you can attempt the same in SSU, but it will be different.

Yes AMSO is an outstanding piece of software, getting to grips with the shuttle fleet at the moment. Managed to re-boost the skylab, next i figure i'll try the same mission with SSU see how we go

Should be a bit harder, since reboost operations in the real shuttle require the +Y thrusters, and some needed functions of the UNIV PTG display are not done yet in SSU for making this right. You would need to cheat there.

Actually, Skylab was to be reboosted using a dedicated reboost module flown up on the reboost mission.

Ok, had used the wrong DPS display anyway. UNIV PTG instead of ORBIT MNVR EXEC.
