It looks really good now.
Why do I get the feeling, especialy when looking at it from behind, that there simply HAS TO BE a "ramming speed" button?
 
There has to be a "panic" button in the cockpit, that when pushed, makes a very annoying sound. :P

Any chance of slapping some boosters and a external tank on this one for a quick ride into orbit ?

Steve and I have talked about a booster (Steve has some ideas for one). In the interest of keeping scope manageable for version 1.0, however, the XR2 mk I will not have an integrated booster. However, there is no reason why a booster could not be developed independently by a third party. It could even be a spacecraft3 vessel.
 
I love that grey skin. Looks like a smaller future cousin of the modern day space shuttle. Which will surely have me launching it with Energia rockets for that shuttle feel! Could it be possible to configure the skin of the XR2 by the scenario editor like DGIV? That would be far nicer than dealing with scenario files. It's a pain in the butt with all ships I've known that require file editing to alter skins. And above all I do hope that ALL voice callouts can be completely disabled by the configuration file this time. It's my biggest issue with the XR series as only some of the callouts can be disabled by the configuration file without having to move the voice callout sound files elsewhere which is very tedious to do. I just want to hear the engines roar without all that chatter which drives me nuts everytime I push a button or two.
 
For the XR2, all callouts will be in Welsh, and will be embedded in the Dll (to prevent theft of the Welsh callouts) there will be no option to turn them off or remove them.

Believe it or not, this is the first request I have heard for that out of 30,528 XR ship downloads to-date. However, in spite of the fact that you just complained about how much the ship sucks rather than asking politely, I will go ahead and add a new EnableVoiceCallouts boolean property to the XR2Ravenstar.cfg file to enable or disable voice callouts. As for changing skins on-the-fly in the scenario editor, I'll think about it.

More customizability is almost always a good thing though, so I'm sure this will be a good addition to the XR code. :)

No worries, I apologize for misunderstanding your post. That's the trouble with text posting: I have read that 60% of communication is how something is said and 40% is what is said. With text, we lose 60% of the meaning. That's why I use emoticons a lot. :)
 
Do you think you could add 1440-wide panels? I don't like how the 1280-wide panels get cut off on my 1440x900 monitor.
