A usable OBSS would be awesome !!

Yes - there should be not much stuff left until having this. Basically just the payload latching system revisited... almost the same logical code, just a different interface.

Another thing: I was reviewing some old discussions of ours and would it be possible to implement OV-102 as an available vehicle?
Any thoughts on this? The launch scenario for 107 is almost done. I'm just having some real problems coming up with the MECO velocity for the AP parameters that will equal to an MECO orbit of 60 kmX274 kmX39°.

The texture is about updated to work with SSU, just need the airlock visibility bug fixed and the introduction of the correct OV-102 visual.

I could set up some meshes, to be added in the scenarios, such as the tiles that were added to the lower sides, of the OMS pods, SILTS, and chute, so they can be added in for flights.

I've fixed the RCS sounds. I'll start work on the RSS animations now. I'm planning to add the RSS mesh as part of the SSU Pad vessel, instead of creating a new vessel module just for the RSS.

Great work, now the RCS is just like it should be! Another bit of realism added!

Looking forward to the RSS! Will it have the OWPs operational?

The OWPs will be operational.

The RSS mesh doesn't quite seem to fit with the other meshes. If the RSS mesh is positioned to fit over the orbiter, the RSS appears to be detached from the FSS (see picture below).

Hmmmm.....:hmm: Will have to take a look at that. Could have something to do with a mismatch between the new RSS and the old FSS.

Finish it up and I'll have a closer look to see where the fault originates from. I doubt it's the stack, so most likely a problem with the FSS/RSS interface.

How do you want the animations to be triggered? I assume you want keypress triggers, but do you also want me to have the LCC triggering some of the animations?

For now key presses will do.

How's the RSS coming along?

New Orbiter.msh and SSUbay.dds checked in.

Added new PLB cameras from DaveS.

They need the animations redone.

They need the animations redone.
Done, but the camera positions in the mesh needs to be slightly tweaked like this:

Forward cams: A slight tweak of about 10 cm upwards
Aft cams: A slight tweak of about 10 cm forward.

Once the camera positions are satisfactory, I'll check in the updated code.

Just thinking here: maybe there's a way to use the annotation feature as way to print the cam data like this: http://spaceflight.nasa.gov/gallery/images/shuttle/rtf/hires/jsc2005e02442.jpg

That's not real life though, that's a graphic.

I know, but it's true to life simulation of two various views tha the crew has available to them. The upper left one is from the RMS Sideview Camera(RSC) that's mounted on the RMS End Effector looking down the length of the OBSS.

The upper right one is a view from the OBSS Laser Dynamic Range Imager(LDRI).

The bottom one is side view of the orbiter.

It would be nice to have those views in the Orbiter CCTVs.

Maybe if yall are not busy, ya'll could post a few screenshots of the flight deck so we can have a better understanding of what is going on.

DaveS: I have a preliminary version of the OWP animations checked in. CTRL+X and CTRL+Y trigger the animations. For the moment, the animations are sped up, to make testing easier. The positioning also needs to be tweaked, but I'd prefer to do that once the RSS position problems are fixed.

Checked in new VC.mesh with working aft MFD, however the labels won't turn on or change to the new list, unless you change the view, then return.
