NASA ANNOUNCES STS-134 CREW

Does NASA have any facilities to train astronauts in Soyuz operations? ;)

I thought 134 was the scheduled last one for now.

STS-134 was going to be the last Shuttle mission, but STS-133 & STS-134 were swapped over. STS-134 will now launch in STS-133's previous slot, and STS-133 will be the last Shuttle mission.

For more info, please see:
STS-134: www.nasaspaceflight.com/2009/06/sts-134-prcb-shuttle-ams-to-station
STS-133: www.nasaspaceflight.com/2009/07/sts-133-final-space-shuttle-flight-baselined-into-fdrd

However, it is likely that a Space Shuttle Program (SSP) extension will now take place.

I don't see the shuttle getting extended. Unless NASA is told directly from the President or Congress, its just a pipe dream.

And just hopes, but really nothing else.

I'm one of the very few ones who can't wait to see the Shuttle on its final flight. I'm waiting for a significant change at NASA, back to capsule design, since 1992 already.

Trust me, you're not. There's loads of people who can't wait for those damned shuttles to become permenently Earthbound.
