Yes. You're right...but those people who are writing such things don't wonder about physical laws.
They just write it so that people think it would be physical.

In the U.S. we aren't able to keep it quiet when the president is fooling around with an intern,but NASA has managed to keep it quiet that the world is going to end because of a crazy phenomena which doesn't exist in our solar system. That's a great article. Awesome.:rofl:

Ok well just for asking a question I get ridiculed. I am a layman with an interest in space flight and the solar system no big crime there, and hoping that the clearly more knowledgeable amongst you would give a sensible answer (after all not so long ago it was in the news about NASA finding an object in the depths of the solar system NOT PLANET X). But for asking a question I get ridiculed so you are obviously a certain brand of people on this forum that clearly don't tolerate people that know less than you do, If you actually think I believe what the article says then you are as bad as you say I am. I was asking for comments and opinions I was not giving you permission to ridicule me in anyway possible.

Needless to say I will not be using this forum any more and anything I do develop for orbiter I will release through another means away from this forum and as for the other posts yes there are numerous theories out there about how the universe works and how we may build warp drives etc but not even Stephen Hawkins latest theory of everything can be proved at this point in time.

I respect the guy but at the end of the the day its only a theory and yet to be proved, if he's wrong will you all take the piss out of him I wonder, I hope you all have a very happy and meaningful life on this forum it's a real shame because orbiter is wonderful software only to be let down by you lot.

When Stephen Hawking says that certain experimental observations lead him to the conclusion that Black Holes evaporate, it is a theory that can be tested. If people say that the end of the world is coming without any experimental observation, it is a claim. And just ridiculous if the people who propagate the claim are not even knowing about the most elemental laws of physics.

People who say, that things are "ONLY" a theory, have absolutely no clue about what a theory is. A theory is the highest form of scientific truth.

All I see you is trying to play the drama queen troll. We are of so bad people by pointing out how stupid the stuff is, that you obviously like. I really feel bad now...NOT.

Yes. that's right. And when somebody says blackholes are the entry to the paradise ( just an example) and he says it just a theory because no one knows what there is, but it is only a claim.
And it is nothing different with this world ending things.

Latest News: Martin is working on planet X which will be included with Orbiter 2009 just in time to obliterate the Earth. Features include all new planetary thrusters for crashing planet X into Earth...and the Moon has been removed since it doesn't exist in real life.

Sorry you feel aggrieved by the answers you got. I don't think that the ridicule was aimed at you, but at the text you are quoting (which didn't deserve much else). If your question was whether the ideas proposed in that text have any scientific credibility, the answer is no, and the responses in the thread are essentially variations of this.
