News Melbourne earthquake!

We had a tremor last night! 4.7, around 8:56 p.m., for around 5 seconds. :speakcool: Haven't felt an earthquake that strong for a few years. (Australia earthquake info)

I felt that one too, it was pretty impressive from where I was (50-100km from the epicenter). It made my house creak and my monitor (and some things on the shel were trembling).

I don't think the volcano is very likely, although Mt Dandenong is one...

Anyway, I felt today's quake too, though it felt weaker (I was further from the epicenter).

There used to be volcanoes in Victoria up to 7000 years ago - they might erupt again one day! (More here) :speakcool:
