First of all i would like to congratulate the us for choosing a president with brains.

second, i would like to give some comment on the criticism. I heard that people think he is a communist or socialist, in Holland we would consider Obama more conservative and right then the most conservative party (de VVD voor nederlanders).

Also we would not call him black, as he is a half-black, half white.

I will tell you: In 4.5 years, you will love him. Because he has the right amount of charisma, for making the USA look good in the world, and when the USA look good in the world, you also look a bit better.

He maybe of the wrong party for some of you, and some lost in yesterday will complain about the color of his skin. But there is nothing in his promises, which even suggests he would do bad politics - his economy politics for example are almost exactly the stuff, leading economic scientists are suggesting for decades, with managers and politicians ignoring it.

I believe that has more to do with economy (and drug smuggling) than politics; Also, I believe it's not because the USA is above average at anything, but because Mexico is a sad, failing excuse for a country. But don't worry, the more you let in, the closer you are to joining them in that club, which is why I support full amnesty for "illegal" (according to fascist US laws) immigrants. Socialism has to begin somewhere!

Fascist US laws?

If someone comes to the country and is getting all the benefits of being a citizen without any of the responsibility (ie, taxes), they're a social parasite, and I don't see how not wanting such drains on your country is fascism.

Exactly, fascist. You feel entitled to deny someone the right to live on "your" territory because they speak Spanish, look tanned and don't share your standards of body hygiene. If it was because of taxes, I'm pretty sure it'd be an a lot more productive solution to both sides to integrate them into the American citizenship and have them pay taxes. Instead, what you're doing is the equivalent of "monkey from other tribe, must hit over head with blunt object".
