Starting September 28th 2008, Orbithangar.com should have the Refuel Corporate HQ available for download. The company HQ is located in Tucson, Arizona, approx 160km North of the US/Mexico Border. Base features 3 runways, 9 VTOL pads, 5 3d Hangars like the ones in my Refuel Lunar base. Comments and suggestions welcome as usual

OK, let's make a suggestion: You could add some surface tiles, and make the hangars a bit smaller (They seem to be around 100m high at the lunar base)

What about moving the corporate HQ further downtown and make the airport a bit smaller? 3 runways is a huge airport.

Your right about the Lunar hangars, they are ~100m tall

The Idea is once I get my skills up or someone that can do meshes and such to have enough room to place a vessel that works as a heavy lifting crane in there someday. That way you can pick up the cargo, lift it up and place it in the XR5 for example. Once you add all that overhead your floor to ceiling distance will drop. Also if your assembling a Vertical launch vehicle in there, your need lots of height if your building anything multistage for Lunar launch.

well so is the nine (9) VTOL pads and as Astrosammy has pointed out the 100m tall SUPER HANGARS. I made HUGE on purpose for further ideas that have not been developed or released yet. These are all Release 1 ideas so far. When I first created the Corporate HQ, I was worried that runways 9R and L were not going to be long enough. Not sure if you tried my Rush to the Moon scn for the HQ, but if you pull up on the stick VERY gently with the 30t DG, you will use almost ALL of 9L. you don't wanna pull up too hard or you could blow out the rear suspension, or a tire since the craft was not designed to be so heavy. I am not sure if ReFuel would ever be used for a emergency shuttle landing location, I can't fly that brick to save my life but if anyone can answer that question Runway 6 was designed for that purpose. I just hope I placed it at the proper heading for shuttle use. If not, well simple trig to recalculate it, or maybe a 4th runway :P
