Usually Yuri's night implies p-a-r-t-y. Since there isn't one in my area, guess I am on my own. Guess I'll start off with a good recreation of the flight.

You don't have to be all alone during Yuri's Night. If you are of the more open minded, you can log into a virtual world like Second Life and join the parties there.

Here's a vid I captured from last year's "Virtual Yuri's Night", just one of the many virtual parties that were held inside Second Life. Notice that my avatar is wearing an SK-1 which I myself made.

Our company might host its own Yuri's Night Party in Second Life on April 12th, and it will be held on our own simulator.

12th of april. Celebration of Yuri's flight, as well as the first shuttle flight (IIRC).

Personally, I think I'll spend it with some friends, we'll down a few brews and I think I'll try to reach orbit in an inebriated state . I don't get my hopes up on reaching that 1 Ecc tho'.
