Question Wisdom Teeth: How long?

Agreed. I had a root canal yesterday; and as bad a s the lawn needs maintenance, I'm not about to climb on the mower.

Also, watch out for food particles getting caught in the (for lack of a better word) crater where your wisdom teeth were. They gave my daughter a syringe to clean out with after her's were extracted.

A crater?!? Yes, there was an ejecta blanket . My face is square today lol

This thread brought back some memories!

My experience was closer to FADEC's. I had two pulled in the chair back when I was in the AirForce. Locale anesthetic only. Only problem was that the roots of one tooth were anomalous. They crossed and interlocked in the jaw. Dentist had to break the tooth to extract.

Zo... he pulls out this little three toothed surgical chisel. I thought neat ... must be a small surgical hammer to go with it. I swear the SOB came out with a five-pound ball peen hammer. Laid the chisel on the tooth and smacked it. The tooth did break ... it shattered into thousands of pieces. Took him half an hour to clean the mess.

Then he asked me if I wanted him to do the other two then. Well, given the penalty for striking an officer ...

Years later one of the other two had to be extracted as it had come apart in the jaw. Much better experience. Still have the last one in, though.

Pain killers ... didn't need them. Just grouched and bore it for a few days.

Cheers all.
