I'm attempting to use the launch pads on wideawake for the first time, and before any of you say it, let me cut you off at the pass..I've read the bloody documentation!

I've put an energia at the large launch pad (fortunately the energia settings allow you to set the vehicle in midair. When I press shift+num 4,6,2,8 absolutly nothing happens.

What do I need to do to access the controlls of the gplp and what do you normally use as an actual PAD for your rocket? It looks a little odd having the energia sitting in midair over a big pit.

I think I may be able to help here... I had a similar problem when I started some moon missions with the Ariane6. Getting the rocket to the pad is a simple trick with scenario editor, but to get the GLPM to work I borrowed a few lines from the demonstration scenarios that came with Wideawake. Add the following to your scenario (if you already haven't) right under the BEGIN SHIPS header. This should give you the platform and the retractable tube. Select it once you are 'in' the scenario and you should be able to control it (using the shift=num etc...).
