I just checked their forum. There still seems to be discussion of current progress. I guess they just don't have anything substantial enough that they feel is ready for release yet.

I was wondering what happened to NASSP. As far as I can tell they released a beta on Septemer 7, 2010 on http://nassp.sourceforge.net/wiki/Main_Page
Has the development stopped or will there be a new version released some day?

http://sourceforge.net/projects/nassp/ says, "Last Update
2012-04-17." As I understand it, NASSP is updated via CVS, "To get the latest version of Project Apollo you don't have to do the initial checkout again but you have to a CVS update." -http://nassp.sourceforge.net/wiki/Installation

(I dare not "go back to" CVS while I'm trying to wrap my head around Git, I don't have enough bandages nor are the ones I have large enough. So maybe someone who is current with NASSP can correct me.)

Well, since you have your answers, im going to say this insted:
Nassp is good for simulating real life procedures, but i highly suggest AMSO insted, due to its sheer level of detail and great soundpack.

I just wish AMSO included more missions like Apollo 7 and 5.

That's why I've converted it to Mercurial privately. It was easier than I thought it would be.
